Arianna Greco is an accomplished Italian attorney and a PhD in Medical Bioethics, with more than twenty-five years of global experience in the life sciences sector. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for guiding pioneering organizations that push the boundaries of medical innovation to improve patients’ lives - exemplifying how legal insight, ethical judgment, and strategic vision can unite to create meaningful impact for patients, teams, and the future of healthcare.

Today, Arianna serves as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for R&D and Commercial at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, a company recognized for its groundbreaking work in RNA-based medicines. In this role, she leads a global team of legal business partners across the United States, Europe, and Japan. Together, they provide comprehensive legal support throughout the entire medicine lifecycle - from early clinical development and regulatory approval to launch and commercialization - ensuring strong governance and smooth, compliant operations in over twenty-six countries and multiple distributor markets.

Outside Alnylam, Arianna is a founding member of The Boardroom in Switzerland and co-chair of its Life Sciences cohort, reinforcing her commitment to advance governance diversity, inspire and empower the next generation, and drive meaningful impact at the highest levels of business.
