Course Overview
This training is comprised of four courses including a PMI micro-credential: Project Communications, Scope and Change Order Management, Interface Management and Contract and Risk Management. In each section, the delegates can expect definition of the concept that’s being covered and its importance; appropriate tools, techniques, methods and peer learning; examples of case studies directly from the industry; and knowledge checks.
Learning Outcomes
- Lean Ways of Working: Learn the use of Lean Construction Principles, where the focus is to ensure reliability in work released from one construction process to the next.
- Agile / Data Driven Approach: The Agile methods in this programme promote the breakdown plans into more manageable pieces. It promotes the collation and use of data indecision-making.

Who Should Attend
This course is designed for professionals and project managers in the built environment industry and is broadly applicable to them. However, the learning outcomes are most impactful for professional who have 3 or more years of experience.
Learning Style
This PMI-CP course is a case-study based learning experience for individuals. Inclusive of best practices and common pitfalls to avoid, this course will be delivered via engaging workshops, activities and content developed by the Project Management Institute.
Certification Criteria
You must meet two criteria to be eligible for an Informa Connect Academy Certificate of Completion:
- Satisfactory attendance: You must attend all sessions of the course. If, for any reason, you miss more than 2 hours of the course sessions, you will not be eligible to sit the course assessment
- Successful completion of the course assessment: Assessments will be ongoing and based on in-class participation and activities
