Course Overview

If you are taking this course, you probably have some professional exposure to the duties of a project manager, and now aspire to be certified in this domain. MP is a world-renowned certification that verifies valuable experience inleading and directing projects, and is the gold standard in project management. In this course, you will apply the generally recognised practices of project management acknowledged by the Project Management Institute (PMI) to successfully manage projects.

PMP® Requirements

To be eligible for the PMP® certification, you must first meet specific education and experience requirements and agree to adhere to a code of professional conduct. The final step in becoming a PMP® is to pass a multiple-choice examination designed to objectively assess and measure your project management knowledge.

If you have real-world project management experience, regardless of your formal job role and whether or not you have received formal project management training, you’ve finished the hardest part. Before you apply, make sure you meet one of the following sets of PMP Certification requirements.

Certification Criteria

You must meet two criteria to be eligible for an Informa Connect Academy Certificate of Completion:

• Satisfactory attendance: You must attend all sessions of the course. If, for any reason, you miss more than 2 hours of the course sessions, you will not be eligible to sit the course assessment
• Successful completion of the course assessment: Assessments will be ongoing and based on in-class participation and activities

PMP® Exam

Please be informed that Informa is in no way responsible to cover the fees, administrative processes or conduct the PMP examinations on behalf of PMI.

Participants who wish to appear for the PMP exam will need to directly register with PMI and the exam centre and will retain responsibility for the end- to-end examination application process. This includes verifying their eligibility requirements for the exam with PMI.
