Profile
Bahar Adili is a Deputy Regional Inspector General in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Inspector General, Office of Evaluation and Inspections. Since joining OIG in 2012, she has led national evaluations examining fraud, waste, and abuse in Federal health programs, with a particular focus on prescription drug pricing and payment policies. Her recent work includes evaluating the impacts of vertical integration in Medicare Part D on sponsors’ drug costs, pharmacy reimbursement, and enrollee cost sharing. Bahar holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Master of Public Policy from American University.
