Joanne Chan is a Senior Assistant General Counsel and Head of State Legal Affairs at the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA). Prior to joining PhRMA, she was Corporate Counsel for Regulatory & Compliance at United Therapeutics Corporation and an associate at King & Spalding LLP. Joanne received a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, an M.P.H. from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, and a B.S.F.S. from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.
