Judd Caufield
Lead Counsel, Oncology Business Unit at Takeda Pharmaceuticals International Co.


With over 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Judd has handled a wide variety of issues ranging from research and development to government price reporting. Currently, Judd is a member of Takeda’s Patient Value and Access (“PVA”) Leadership Team within its U.S. Oncology Business Unit where he provides counsel on government price reporting, market access, payor marketing, trade and distribution, and patient service related matters. Prior to joining the PVA Leadership Team, Judd was the brand attorney for Takeda’s lung franchise, working with the U.S. and global commercial and medical teams, and participating as a member of several global product teams. In this previous role, Judd oversaw the development, launch and commercialization of Takeda’s Alunbrig® and Exkivity®. Before joining Takeda, Judd worked with several other manufacturers (mid-sized and global) and began his legal career at Ropes & Gray in Boston, Mass. Judd earned his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, and also holds an M.A. in Integrated Marketing Communication and a B.A. in Biology.
