Katy Lees, BS, is the Director of 340B Policy and Business Strategy at University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY. In this role, she provides 340B oversight across the health system, managing a team of 14 that is responsible for ongoing, real-time contract pharmacy and outpatient pharmacy audits and routine monitoring and maintenance of 340B compliance in the hospital’s mixed-use areas. She also works closely with UR Government Relations and other safety-net providers to advocate for the preservation of the 340B Program, meeting with key lawmakers on Capitol Hill biannually to explain the value of the program and its importance in stretching scarce resources. Katy received her BS in health administration from Roberts of Wesleyan College in Rochester and recently completed an MS in Business Analytics from the University of Rochester, Simon Business School. She became a 340B Apexus Certified Expert in 2017
