Jean Wauters is a Senior Director in the Private Capital Investors group at New York Life Investors. He is based in London and specializes in infrastructure and corporate credits within EMEA, being responsible for transaction sourcing, underwriting and portfolio management.

Prior to joining New York Life Investors, Jean worked for two years at Pacific Life, where he focused on underwriting and monitoring project finance transactions. Prior to Pacific Life, he worked for six years at Barclays, where he was responsible for originating, structuring and syndicating debt private placement transactions. He spent time both in London and in New York, and contributed towards the placing of over $30 billion in volume across corporates and project finance.

Jean holds a MSc in Financial Markets from EDHEC Business School, a BSc degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Bristol and is a CFA charterholder.
