Mr. Schmitt has over 17 years’ experience in infrastructure finance and is responsible for originating, structuring, analysing and executing debt transactions in the infrastructure sector, including sub-sectors such as energy transition, transportation & mobility and digital infrastructure. Mr. Schmitt joined DWS in 2014, having previously spent four years in investment banking within the Project and Infrastructure Finance team of Intesa SanPaolo in London where he successfully arranged and structured a number of limited recourse lending transactions across transportation, energy and telecom sectors in the EMEA region. Prior to that, Mr. Schmitt was responsible for analysing and executing equity investment opportunities in the UK social infrastructure and transportation sectors for Morgan Sindall Investments Limited and started his career with Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking in Paris. Mr. Schmitt graduated with a Master in Management from EDHEC Business School, in France. Mr Schmitt holds the Certified ESG Analyst qualification issued by European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies.
