Ed Barker is a Managing Director and co-head of Pricoa Private Capital’s London Corporate Finance office. He oversees private placement, non-sponsored direct lending and mezzanine activity in the UK and Ireland, managing a portfolio in excess of $12 billion (as of 30.6.24). Prior to this, in his Pricoa career to date, Ed has headed up teams responsible for marketing, originating, and managing private placement, direct lending and mezzanine investments across all regions of the UK and Ireland. He sits on a number of mid-market Boards related to these investments. Prior to joining Pricoa in 2006, he worked at a small firm of chartered accountants in Leicestershire. Ed received a BA from Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. Ed is a golfer, Leicester City fan and runs a charity - Green Frog Holidays - focused on children with learning difficulties.
