Michael is currently the head of Manulife’s Power and Infrastructure team managing a fixed income portfolio covering power, infrastructure and renewable investments in Latin America, Europe, Canada, Australia and Asia. He has over 27 years of experience in the sector originating and underwriting senior debt, sub debt and equity transactions. He has spent the past 15 years with Manulife focused on renewable transactions. Prior to that he worked at GE Energy Financial Services and Newcourt Capital in New York where he focused on project finance debt and tax equity advisory work. He has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Toronto, a Master in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business (University of Western Ontario) and holds CPA and CFA designations.
