Stephen Valvona joined MetLife Investment Management (MIM) in 2021 as a Director in the Private Capital team responsible for the origination of new corporate transactions across the UK and Continental Europe. Prior to joining MIM, Stephen spent 16 years as a Private Placement banker at both Lloyds Bank and Barclays focused on the origination, structuring and syndication of debt private placements across the UK and Europe. Stephen started his career as a corporate bond research analyst at Citi.

Stephen holds a MSc in Real Estate from the University of Reading and a BA (Hons) degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Exeter.
