Steve is responsible for Corporate Private Credit at L&G, the UK’s largest asset manager. He leads a team sourcing, structuring and managing both investment grade and sub investment grade private markets credit across a range of sectors and European geographies. He is responsible for L&G’s UK and European corporate, social housing and education private markets credit assets. Steve joined L&G in 2018 from Barclays, where he spent 10 years across both the Corporate and Investment Bank. Steve has extensive experience across European loan and DCM markets, is a qualified corporate treasurer and holds a BSc in Accounting in Finance from the University of York. He also holds a non-executive co-opted committee role for a local housing association.
