Surjit is Group Finance and Resources Director at Newlon Housing Trust, a medium sized housing association based in London. He is responsible for all aspect of treasury and finance functions for the Group as well as corporate services including HR, IT, Procurement and Digitalisation.

He has over 15 year executive level experience in the social housing space in UK. He joined Newlon in 2017 and since joining he has successfully overseen two private placement transactions, two joint ventures delivering largely private housing units, developed business cases and funding strategies for large a regeneration project housing in central London, delivering a mix of private and affordable housing.

He has also served as non-executive director for a large social housing provider in London.

Surjit is a Chartered Certified Accountant, has BSc in Biophysical Science. He also hold a DBA from Henley Business School.
