Geoff Birkett is a global pharmaceutical executive with more than 40 years of leadership experience across the United States, Europe and Asia. Geoff studied at Henley and INSEAD Business school. During his career, he has successfully launched seven major pharmaceutical products, five of which became multi-billion market leaders, including Prozac®, Nicorette®, Seroquel® and Suboxone®. His expertise spans pain management, neuroscience, addiction, and oncology. Geoff has held senior leadership positions with Eli Lilly, Lundbeck, ICI, Zeneca, AstraZeneca and Indivior, leading organizations in the UK, US, Sweden, Germany and Japan. At AstraZeneca, he established the company's global neuroscience business in the United States and later led neuroscience and oncology businesses representing more than $8 billion in annual sales.

Following his career in global pharmaceutical companies, Geoff founded a successful strategic consulting practice, advising leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies on commercialization, launch excellence, corporate strategy and organizational development. His clients included Bristol Myers Squibb, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Otsuka and numerous emerging biotechnology companies. He later joined Indivior as President of North America, where he increased Suboxone's market share to 62% while running a business generating approximately $2 billion in annual sales.

Geoff joined Ensysce Biosciences in 2018. He is responsible for commercialization, launch planning, strategic forecasting, medical and industry partnerships.
