Charles-Benoit Parent, CAIA is a Senior Vice President and co-head of the Montreal and Quebec City Debt & Structured Finance practice at CBRE Capital. With over 10 years of investment banking and capital markets experience, he specializes in real estate capital structuring and portfolio strategy. He advises institutions, REITs, pension funds, private equity firms, family offices and HNW individuals, facilitating over $4.0 billion in finance strategies across Quebec and Ontario.

Since joining CBRE Capital in 2023, Charles-Benoit has driven the growth of the national brokerage and direct lending platforms. He is actively involved in equity and debt placement strategies through a wide array of financial products, including CMHC-insured, conventional, construction, private placement, high yield / preferred, and exempt market securities. Previously, Charles-Benoit served as Real Estate Finance Vice President at one of Canada’s largest independently owned mortgage companies, where he gained extensive experience in structuring and negotiating complex financial transactions. Charles-Benoit holds a Bachelor of Commerce, major in finance from the John Molson School of Business (Concordia University), is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), Exempt Market Dealer (EMD) , commercial real estate broker (OACIQ) and mortgage representative (AMF)
