With a background in Business Administration, specializing in Organizational Management at UQAM, as well as in Economics at the Université de Montréal, Karim Farouk has 28 years of experience in property management, notably in the private sector, primarily with CAPREIT. He has acquired extensive knowledge of large-scale real estate operations, having overseen the management of 22,000 units across several Canadian and international regions. He joined the SHDM in June 2025 as Director of Residential Property Management.
