Wade Allison is an experimental and theoretical physicist, the author of some 245 scientific publications and four books. In 40 years at Oxford he taught and lectured students in most areas from Mathematics to Medical Physics. His accessible books, “Radiation and Reason” (2009) “and “Nuclear is for Life” (2015), compare nuclear radiation when used for human health in a clinic with its risks when used in the environment. He has lectured around the world including several visits to Fukushima. In the UK he is Honorary Secretary of the Supporters Of Nuclear Energy.
