Benjamin Chua leads the national real estate financing business in Ontario and Western Canada for Desjardins Financial Security Life Assurance Company, the wealth management and life insurance arm of the Desjardins Group, Canada’s largest financial cooperative. The national real estate team provides clients and members with access to commercial mortgages, bridge loans, development and construction financing for income producing and for sale properties in the residential, industrial, retail and office segments. Benjamin joined Desjardins in 2016 and has 15 years of experience in financing real estate transactions across Canada. Prior to joining Desjardins, Benjamin worked at Canadian and international financial institutions in roles ranging from relationship management, risk management and syndications in the commercial and corporate banking segments.
