Dan Oberste is the President and Chief Executive Officer of BSR Real Estate Investment Trust, which owns a multifamily portfolio located in the sunbelt markets of the United States with emphasis in Austin, Dallas and Houston. Prior to his current role, Mr. Oberste served as President and Chief Investment Officer of the REIT and its predecessor and began his career as an attorney with the corporate practice group at Kutak Rock LLP. Oberste earned his undergraduate degree from the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas and his Juris Doctorate from the Leflar School of Law at the University of Arkansas. He has recently served as Chairman of the University of Arkansas at Pulaski Technical College Foundation and Chairman of the Board at Good Shepherd Ecumenical Retirement Center, an affordable senior living non-profit organization.
