Derek Warren is a vice president, portfolio manager for Lincluden Investment Management where he focuses on real estate and Canadian small-cap securities. Derek began his investment career in 2000 at Morguard Financial as a member of the equity team, where he was responsible for the analysis of REITs and real estate companies. Joining Lincluden in 2015 he works with the team in managing several real estate portfolios including the Morguard Real Estate Equity Fund and the CIBC Canadian Real Estate Fund which has won multiple Lipper Fund Awards. The team also manages the Lincluden Canadian Small Cap Fund. In 2024 Derek was named by Brendon Wood as one of Canada’s TopGun portfolio managers. He holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.
