Glenn Hynes retired in 2022 as EVP & COO of Crombie REIT and was EVP, CFO & Secretary from 2010 to 2018. From 1996 to 2006, he held executive positions with Sobeys including EVP & CFO and EVP & Chief Development Officer. He currently sits on the Boards of Triovest, Cooke Inc and Southwest Properties and was on the Board of Summit Industrial REIT until its sale in February 2023. Glenn is a 2017 graduate of the AMP Program at Harvard Business School and is a BBA graduate of UPEI and a CA. He is past Chair of Atlantic Provinces Economic Council (APEC) and past Finance & Audit Committee Chair of UPEI. In 2013/2014, he completed the DEP Program and ICD.D designation at the ICD. Glenn received the FCA designation in 2011, FCPA designation in 2017, UPEI’s Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2002 and Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 Award in 2000.
