Jay Sanders is the Managing Partner leading Family Office & Trust Services at MAI Capital Management where he oversees comprehensive family office and tax services for ultra-high net worth individuals and their families. With a career spanning executive leadership roles at several of the nation’s largest financial institutions, Jay specializes in the integration of complex estate planning, private banking, and wealth preservation.

Jay’s executive track record includes serving as President at Banc of California, Chief Fiduciary Officer and Head of Wealth Management at CIT Bank, and Managing Director at Bank of America and Merrill Lynch. Jay also has significant technology experience having served on the board of a global FinTech company that specializes in Single and Multi-Family office solutions.

Jay is a graduate of the University of Arizona and Drake University Law School. He is member of the State Bar of California (currently inactive) and serves as Vice Chairman of the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and Advisory Board Member of Builders of Jewish Education. Jay lives in Los Angeles with his wife and has two adult children.
