Kayla Kennelly is a strategic growth and business leader with over 15 years of experience building and scaling advisory platforms. As Chief Growth Officer at Opal Wealth Advisors, she works closely with the leadership team to drive long-term strategy, lead growth and marketing initiatives, and support the development and recruitment of top advisory talent.

Prior to joining Opal, Kayla was a Vice President and early team member at Goldman Sachs Advisor Solutions, where she focused on business development and recruiting breakaway advisors transitioning to independence. She also held multiple leadership roles as an early employee at Facet Wealth, including leading financial wellness initiatives and supporting firm growth across new channels and partnerships. Earlier in her career, Kayla spent eight years at Pershing, working across Pershing Advisor Solutions and Prime Brokerage, advising entrepreneurial advisors on independence and managing relationships with hedge fund clients.

Kayla is deeply committed to mentorship and industry development. She previously served as a Financial Literacy Board Member for InvestmentNews and co-founded Pershing’s Reverse Mentoring Program. She earned her BBA from Iona College and is a small-business owner, bringing an operator’s perspective to growth and client experience.
