Kristi Mitchem is a founding partner of &Partners. She was previously CEO of BMO Global Asset Management, where she co-led teams delivering solutions across multi-asset, alternatives, fixed income, and equities. Prior to that, she was CEO of Wells Fargo Asset Management, overseeing 28 investment teams. Her 20+ years of experience span asset management, defined contribution pensions, and equity markets, with leadership roles at State Street, BlackRock, and Goldman Sachs. She is listed on patents involving guaranteed income innovations.
Kristi is a long-standing advocate for diversity and inclusion across the financial industry. She is recognized for advancing initiatives that increase representation in leadership and investment decision-making. She helped launch the first gender-focused ETF, designed to invest in companies with strong representation of women in senior management and on corporate boards.
Kristi holds a summa cum laude degree in political science from Davidson College and an MBA from Stanford, where she was an Arjay Miller Scholar. She is a Fulbright Scholar and Aspen Finance Leaders Fellow.
