Emily Vennerstrom is Senior Director of mergers and acquisitions at CAPTRUST.
She helps lead CAPTRUST’s inorganic growth strategy, sourcing acquisition opportunities, building relationships with centers of influence, and guiding transactions through diligence, structuring, and close. She partners with leaders to expand CAPTRUST’s marketplace presence and communicate the firm’s value to prospective partners.
Emily brings 15 years of extensive leadership experience. Before CAPTRUST, she was chief operating officer and partner at NorthRock Partners, overseeing operations and growth. As chief impact officer, she integrated philanthropic advice into family office solutions and founded Foundation X, a philanthropic advisory and foundation management business serving families, corporations, and nonprofits. She previously held leadership roles at UnitedHealth Group and Medtronic, supporting health systems and community development.
Emily earned a Bachelor of Arts in marketing from Bethel University.
Outside work, she enjoys time with family and friends, traveling, golf, and cheering on her three daughters.
