Rob Sandrew is Head of Mariner Independent and a member of Mariner's Executive Leadership Team. He leads the strategy and growth of Mariner's independent business, expanding the platform, strengthening advisor capabilities, and advancing the firm's vision of becoming the destination for entrepreneurial advisors seeking the freedom of independence backed by the scale and resources of a national wealth management firm.
Rob is responsible for building an advisor-first ecosystem that empowers independent advisors to grow their businesses and deliver exceptional client outcomes. Under his leadership, Mariner Independent continues to enhance its open-architecture platform by providing access to specialized expertise, integrated technology, practice management resources, strategic partnerships, and a collaborative community that helps advisors scale without compromising their independence.
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, Rob works across the enterprise to execute Mariner's long-term growth strategy, elevate the advisor experience, and accelerate innovation. He collaborates with leaders throughout the organization to expand capabilities, strengthen connectivity across the platform, and deliver differentiated solutions that create greater value for advisors.
Prior to joining Mariner, Rob served as Chief Growth Officer at Integrated Partners, where he led the firm's strategic expansion. During his tenure, assets under advisement grew from approximately $3 billion to more than $21 billion. He developed the firm's W-2 acquisition strategy while continuing to grow its 1099 independent advisor platform. Rob also led the firm's public relations and strategic marketing partnerships, serving as a prominent industry spokesperson and helping elevate its national brand.
A frequent speaker at industry conferences and contributor to leading wealth management publications, Rob is recognized for his perspectives on advisor affiliation, practice growth, mergers and acquisitions, and the future of independent wealth management.
Rob earned his bachelor's degree from Boston University.
