Many established individuals entering the wealth and investment management sector often find themselves contending with a surprising adversary – impostor syndrome. Venturing into an industry steeped in tradition and expertise, the burden of self-doubt can overshadow their confidence. Nevertheless, it is the introduction of new, diverse perspectives and concepts that holds the solution to the industry's progression. Deliberately welcoming these varied voices and modes of thinking is not merely an act of inclusivity; it is a strategic necessity that possesses the potential to transform the landscape of wealth management for the better.

Magui Santos Silva, a Software Engineer at Calastone, recently visited IMpower Studios in Monaco to share her initial impressions of IMpower. In her discussion, Magui emphasises the significance of initiatives like the Finding Your Voice programme, which chip away at the impostor syndrome she experienced leading up to IMpower. She also explores further steps that can be taken within the industry to embrace the diverse voices present in wealth management.
