Algimantas Gaulia graduated Master of Economics at Kaunas University of Technology and has more than 20 years of experience in banking, specializing in finance and risk management areas. He joined Šiaulių bankas team in 2013, from 2021 became a Chief Risk Officer and member of the management board. During his career he steered the bank through many transitions including acquisitions, system implementations and integrations, IFRS9 implementation, Comprehensive Assessment process. He is also currently chairing the Sustainability Group that is responsible for the oversight of ESG integration in bank’s activities.
