Irina Slinko is Chief Risk Officer and Vice President of Nasdaq Clearing, where she leads a 2nd line Risk function within the Clearing House and oversees overall Risk function engagements within the Nordic & Baltic region. Previously Mrs Slinko held a number of risk positions at Swedish financial institutions, being responsible for Risk, Capital and Valuation at Swedish Export Credit Corporation as well as Market and Counterparty Risk modelling and control at SEB.

Among main areas of Mrs Slinko’s expertise are Risk governance, Capital planning, Stress testing, Quantitative risk modelling, Recovery and Resolution, Market and Counterparty Risks, Derivatives valuation.

Mrs. Slinko holds a PhD in Financial Mathematics from Stockholm School of Economics in Stockholm.
