Mia Hinnerich holds a permanent position as Senior Lecturer at Stockholm Business School (SBS) where she also serves as Head of the Bachelor’s Program in Finance. She is an experienced lecturer and researcher in finance, specializing in derivatives pricing, investment portfolio management and fixed income modelling. She has previously been affiliated with ISEG University of Lisbon, Risklab at ETH in Zurich, Switzerland and Aarhus University Denmark. During the early years of her career she spent four years in the banking and insurance sector as a risk and performance analyst at the asset management departments of Trygg-Hansa and SEB, and as an analyst at the institutional investors department at the Swedish National Debt Office.

She has published articles in internationally recognized peer review journals including the Journal of Banking and Finance, and her work has been presented at numerous international conferences. She holds a PhD in Finance from Stockholm School of Economics. She also holds a BA and a MSc in Mathematics from Stockholm University and a BA and MSc in Economics and Business Administration.
