Søren Agergaard Andersen is the Chief Risk Officer for Nordea Asset Management, the biggest asset manager in the Nordics with around € 250bn AuM. Søren is responsible for the overall 2nd line risk function, managing a team of risk professionals in Denmark, Sweden and Luxembourg. Prior to this Søren was Head of Risk in SEB Denmark. Søren’s primary focus is the cultivation of a strong risk culture – a culture in which the business understands the regulatory requirements, understand what risks and levels are acceptable, and where the risk framework and tools support the achievement of business objectives.
