Mimi Lee, MD, PhD, is a physician-scientist and health innovation leader working at the intersection of medicine and innovative genetic biotech. She is committed to advancing solutions that embed ethical and equitable access to care for all patients around the globe. She has served as a Program Manager at ARPA-H, designing and launching a $160M program intended to catalyze therapeutic genetic medicines development to accelerate healthcare ecosystem innovation. Previously, she held executive roles in industry at BioMarin, Novartis, and GeneDx. Dr. Lee brings deep experience translating complex science into systems-level solutions that improve health outcomes, and she is committed to elevating public understanding of innovation, access, and the future of care. She holds degrees from Harvard, Albert Einstin College of Medicine and has clinical training in neurological surgery at Washington University and in anesthesiology at UCSF.
