Nicola is an Associate Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca, where he leads the Oligonucleotide Transcriptomics team. His team leverages advanced omics technologies to support AstraZeneca's diverse portfolio of oligonucleotide therapeutics. With over a decade of experience in RNA biology, Nicola has contributed to several high-impact publications, including first-author works in journals such as Cell and Nature Cell Biology. Before joining AstraZeneca, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at The Rockefeller University in New York. Nicola earned his PhD from Lund University, Sweden.
