➢ Dr. Attila Seyhan, PhD, is the Director of Translational Oncology Operations and the Translational Oncology Shared Resource at the Legorreta Cancer Center, and Associate Professor of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at Brown University. He leads basic, translational, and clinical cancer research, including Phase I/II trials, with a focus on drug development and biomarker discovery.

➢ He previously held faculty (Associate Professor) and leadership roles at Fox Chase Cancer Center and Temple University, Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute, and Florida Hospital, with a concurrent Research Affiliate role in the Department of Chemical Engineering at MIT.

➢ Before academia, he held leadership positions in the pharmaceutical industry at Wyeth and Pfizer Inc.

➢ His academic background includes postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Vermont, USA, and the University of Paris, France. He earned his Ph.D. from Michigan Technological University, USA (on a NATO Science fellowship), and a B.S. in Biology from Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey.
