Profile
Scott D. Gorman, PhD, is an Applications Scientist at RedShiftBio, where he develops RNA applications using Microfluidic Modulation Spectroscopy, including measurements of base pairing, degradation, and chemical modifications. He joined RedShiftBio in 2024 after working at Arrakis Therapeutics on RNA–small molecule biophysics and completing postdoctoral research at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital on protein phase separation. Scott earned his PhD in chemistry from Penn State, where he studied protein allostery and conformational dynamics.
