Sudhir Agrawal, D. Phil., FRSC, is the founder and President of ARNAY Sciences LLC. Over the past thirty years, his research has focused on discovering and developing RNA therapeutics, including antisense and immunotherapy. Recently, his work has involved the chemical engineering of oligonucleotides, including the creation of transient cyclic structures for use in developing RNA therapeutics with various mechanisms of action. He has published over 300 research papers and is listed as a co-inventor on more than 400 patents worldwide. He has edited four books on oligonucleotides and antisense technology, including a recent publication on ‘Advances in Nucleic Acid Therapeutics’. Currently, he serves on the scientific advisory boards of multiple biotechnology companies dedicated to developing RNA therapeutics.
