Charles Talarmin, having joined the French Navy in 2010, served on several warships, honing his expertise in the Law of the Sea and crisis management. In 2020, he became the Head of the Maritime Emergency Response Office within the maritime Prefecture for the Channel and the North Sea. In this role, he oversaw operational readiness and developed contingency plans for Salvage, Oil Spill Response, and Search and Rescue at sea. Additionally, he actively promoted international maritime cooperation with key stakeholders.
