Dirk is one of the founders of BlueTack, a marine salvage company focused on Incident Management & Pollution Remediation with over 15 years of experience in the maritime and Oil & Gas industry. Dirk previously worked for a large salvage company in different project & management roles globally and has previously been stationed in the Netherlands and the United States. He has been involved in all aspects of salvage – working with shipowners, oil majors, insurers and governmental bodies - both on the emergency response/salvage and Wreck Removal next to his experience in decommissioning, subsea and offshore wind projects. Dirk studied as Naval Architect (BEng) and obtained a Master of Science in Technology Management.
