Eline Muller is co-owner of the Muller Maritime Group and a senior executive in Multraship, the Groups’ leading towage and salvage company headquartered in Terneuzen, the Netherlands. Multraships’ core activities include harbour and terminal towage, salvage, sea towage and support to offshore energy and marine infrastructure industries.
The Muller family has been engaged in the shipping industry for more than 240 years, specializing in towage and salvage since 1911. Multraship operates a large, modern fleet of tugs, self-propelled floating sheerlegs, salvage and offshore support craft and other units.
Eline has been involved in the company’s business since its inception in 1984. Throughout the years she has undertaken various operational, commercial and management roles, helping to build the company to its present substantial international scale. Her experience is extensive, from overseeing and managing major salvage operations, leading tender teams to expand business development opportunities, stakeholder management, claims handling as well as corporate and legal affairs. She gained substantial experience of negotiating salvage and wreck removal contracts and settlements.
She is a Non-Executive Director at the Shipowners’ Club and an active member of the International Salvage Union where she is Chair of its Salvage Sub-Committee. She also engages with other shipping industry bodies such as the European Tug Owners Association and the Royal Dutch Shipowners’ Association and she is a member of WISTA the Netherlands.
