Henning is an internationally recognized expert in all aspects of green ship recycling and has established Green Ship Recycling Services (GSR Services GmbH) for supporting all stakeholders in cost-effective preparation and fulfilment of the Hong Kong Convention and EU-Regulation on Ship Recycling. Since 2014 he ́s a guest professor for ship recycling at Wold Maritime University (WMU) in Malmø/Sweden.
