Nicky is a Marine environmental and sustainability professional with a broad range of experience over 16 years. She spent ten years spent responding to maritime incidents, attending on site at more than 30 pollution and salvage incidents around the world.

Nicky has extensive field experience with environmental /social impact assessment, coral reef conservation and fisheries management enabling the provision of a holistic perspective in emergencies and for complex coastal management projects.
Sustainable maritime operations require a multidisciplinary approach based on data but also retaining flexibility to best apply to a particular set of circumstances . Nicky has a strong belief that often the most simple solutions are the best and puts emphasis on nature-based solutions and innovative approaches to waste management / circularity.
