Iskra Sbraccia is a distinguished compliance executive and strategic leader currently serving as the Head of Sanctions Screening Operations at Google. In this capacity, she leads global compliance, screening, and operations across Sanctions and Export Controls for Google and Alphabet, ensuring robust regulatory integrity and risk management across complex US and international markets.
With a career spanning major financial institutions and global technology enterprises, Iskra is recognized for her expertise in enterprise risk management, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), economic sanctions, product management, and business intelligence. Prior to joining Google, she held pivotal leadership roles at Citi, serving as Sanctions Compliance Director and Global Head of CitiScreening Content Management, where she directed large-scale compliance strategies and operational transformations. Throughout her career, Iskra has been a pioneer in building and modernizing screening frameworks through the integration of cutting-edge automation and AI, driving product innovation, and aligning regulatory compliance with enterprise growth objectives.

Beyond her corporate executive responsibilities, Iskra is deeply committed to institutional governance and educational leadership. She serves as Vice Chair of the Saint Leo University Board of Trustees and Chair of the Audit Committee, bringing strategic oversight and financial governance to higher education. Previously, she served as President of the Alumni Association and the Board of Directors at Saint Leo University, where she earned both her B.A. in International Studies and her M.S. in Criminal Justice – Critical Incident Management, with a specialized focus on International Law and Counterterrorism.
