Hirofumi Imai joined Idemitsu Kosan in 1993. He started working in the petrochemical sector, where he was responsible for petrochemical projects such as the construction of naphtha crackers and paraxylene plants. After working on a refinery construction project in Vietnam, he has been in charge of carbon neutral business development since 2019. Currently manages SAF, hydrogen/ammonia, and waste plastic recycling projects.
