Anthony Joshua is a British professional boxer and former two-time Heavyweight World Champion. Widely regarded as one of the leading heavyweights of his generation, he holds a professional record of 28 wins and 4 losses, with 25 victories by knockout. Born in 1989 to Nigerian parents, Joshua grew up in Watford, excelling in football and athletics before discovering boxing at the age of 18. Just four years later, he was crowned Olympic Champion at the London 2012 Games representing Great Britain.
Turning professional in 2013, Joshua became World Champion within just 16 fights and has since headlined some of the sport’s most iconic venues, including Wembley Stadium, Principality Stadium, Madison Square Garden, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and multiple appearances in Saudi Arabia.
Beyond the ring, Joshua is one of the most commercially successful figures in British sport. He holds an OBE, awarded by Queen Elizabeth II, and has built a business portfolio spanning athlete management, marketing, merchandise, property, investment, and philanthropy. In his downtime, he enjoys chess, documentaries, and time with his family.
