From 2012 to 2023, he worked at General Atlantic, most recently as Managing Director. Previous roles include positions at BC Partners and L.E.K. Consulting. Christian earned a PhD from the Technical University of Munich and holds degrees from LMU Munich (M.A. in Economics) and the University of Oxford (B.A. in Economics & Management).
