Erik Bakker is CEO of OHV Vermogensbeheer, a Dutch investment firm offering wealth and asset management. It was founded in 1932 with a strong heritage in fixed income and loans. With decades of experience in capital markets, Erik leads OHV’s strategic focus on fixed income and private debt. OHV has built a strong reputation in sourcing, structuring, and managing private credit solutions for both institutional and private clients.
OHV manages multiple private credit strategies, including an open-end fund focused on Dutch SME loans. This fund is backed by a diversified base of institutional, semi-institutional, and private investors. In addition, OHV manages two closed-end private debt funds and several bespoke mandates targeting niche segments in SME credit — often in cooperation with public institutions and long-term institutional capital providers.
He also serves as Chairman of the Dutch Association of Wealth Managers, where he promotes fair market conditions and collaboration across the industry.
