Georges Asmar is the President, Managing Director, and Portfolio Manager of LeadCrest Capital Partners, Europe’s first fund solely focused on sale-leaseback and build-to-suit investments.

LeadCrest, headquartered in Luxembourg with an office in Paris assists its corporate partners in meeting their strategic objectives by funding all their real estate needs.

The firm’s investment scope spans various sectors, including consumer goods, industrials, healthcare, and education, covering a wide range of asset types from traditional commercial spaces to specialized operational properties. Central to LeadCrest’s investment approach is responsible investing, where the company strives to deliver long-term sustained value for their investors, society, and the environment.

Before founding LeadCrest in 2019, Mr. Asmar established and managed the sale-leaseback strategy at Colony Capital (NYSE) in New York City. His earlier career includes his tenure as a Director at W. P. Carey and over eight years in private equity and investment banking in London, where he gained significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets, primarily within the infrastructure, real estate, renewable energy, and telecom sectors through roles at HSBC and JPMorgan.

Mr. Asmar holds a Master of Science in Management from EM Lyon Business School in France and an MBA with Honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
