Otto Alaoui is a Managing Director of the Carlyle Credit Opportunities Fund, focused on France. He is based in London.

Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Alaoui was a Director for CVC where he worked six years. During his tenure at CVC, Mr. Alaoui focused on Private and Public Credit investments including junior debt and special situations. As a senior member of the team, he led several key transactions for CVC Credit in Europe. Prior to CVC, Mr. Alaoui worked for Providence Equity Partners where he was a member of the private equity team in London. Prior to joining Providence, Mr. Alaoui started at UBS where he was as a member of the Technology, Media and Telecommunications group in London.

Mr. Alaoui received his MBA from Harvard Business School and has a MSc in business administration from HEC Paris, where he was an Eiffel Scholar.
