Alok Somani is the CFO and CCO for Orbit Ventures, an early stage emerging markets VC with over $200mm in AUM. Prior to joining Orbit Ventures, he owned and operated a last mile trucking company. His career includes significant leadership roles at PopCap Asia, Hess Corporation, and BP, where he managed complex financial operations and drove significant value creation. Alok holds an MBA in Finance and Operations from UCLA Anderson and a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
